Our Story

The original entity—Tresten Sneed and Associates—incorporated in 1982 by owners, Bill Tresten and Monte Sneed, was a full-line nonferrous distribution company operated under the trade name TS Alloys Inc in Houston, Texas. The distribution company grew to multiple locations in the Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis areas. TS Alloys was sold in 1990 to British Steel with a plan to expand further into the North American market. Honoring a non-compete to stay out of the metal distribution, the owners opened TSA Processing in Houston.

We believe experience and knowledge of the industry has taken us a long way, allowing us to adapt with the ever shifting industry of Stainless Steel.
